Legal framework
Ergin Digital is a microenterprise within the meaning of § 2 no. 17 of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG) that provides services. Under § 3 (3) BFSG, the accessibility requirements set out there therefore do not apply to this website. I provide this statement voluntarily.
State of accessibility
The website follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. On 23. September 2026, I tested every page with the automated testing tool axe-core; no violations were reported. However, automated tests only detect part of the possible barriers, and an independent third-party review has not yet taken place. The website may therefore still contain barriers.
What has been implemented
- A clear heading structure, a declared language (English on this page), and labelled page regions
- A "Skip to content" link and full keyboard operability with a visible focus indicator
- Alt text for images and labelled form fields with understandable error messages
- Colour contrast designed to meet WCAG AA values; zoom up to 200% without horizontal scrolling
- The operating-system setting "reduce motion" is respected
- A display menu via the "Accessibility" icon in the lower left: font size, high contrast, highlighted links, increased line spacing, and reduced motion. Your choice is stored only in your own browser.
Known limitations
- The Google Maps map is a service provided by Google, and I cannot influence its usability. The address and links to Google Maps are therefore always also shown as text next to it.
- Content in Plain Language or sign language is not currently available.
- The Legal Notice and Privacy Policy necessarily contain legal terminology.
